On side of quebrada. Among other shrubs and on trees, more dry area.

Description
Small tree-like shrub, to 5 m tall. Older bark white, minutely roughened in appearance, but smooth to touch. Branch tips green, this thin green layer peeling to expose reddish-brown layer, this thin layer peeling to expose white bark. Fruit color of blue-black ink. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
