    Shrub 1.5 m tall. Branches more or less dense, erect, divaricating. Lvs. shiny dark green above, with yellow-green midrib; pale shiny green beneath dark green reticulate veinlets. Stipules pale green turning red-brown. Young buds green. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
