Habitat
Cool, moist, shaded; base of cliff at edge of marshy pasture. Shaded by Betula papyrifera, a few Pinus strobus, Acer rubrum, A. negundo; with 6 small colonies of Bryoxiphium norvegicum, Lepraria, Ramalina, Dicranella heteromalla, Conocephalum conicum, Circaea alpina.
