Several large plants in crevices of light-colored tuff wall of narrow canyon.

Description
Corollas violet, 7 mm long seeds ca 0.7 mm long. One capsule has 16 pitted-reticulate seeds 0.6 mm long, and a number of abortive ovules. Another has 18 seeds plus some abortive ovules. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
