Habitat
Along calcareous stream with gravelly outwash and abundant calcareous cliffs and boulders, in mature forest dominated by Pseudotsuga menziesii and Pinus contorta, Cratoneuron commutatum and Metaneckera menziesii common with forest dominated by Pleurozium schreberi and Hylocomium splendens.
