Description
Stems massive, solitary, 15m tall, 50cm diam., smooth, ringed. Leaves 5; a leaf from a young plant with reddish petioles to 140 cm long; rachis 3.5m long with 13 primary pinnae per side, each with to 15 secondary pinnae, these with blunt margins. Inflorescences pendulous, more than 2m long; fruit 2 seeded. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
