Wet tropical evergreen forest on raised limestone karst. High, closed canopy dominated by Elaeocarpus, Semecarpus. Cycads also very abundant.

Description
Understory tree, 5 m tall. With ripe black fruit. White sap. Fine lateral venation in the leaves typical of Apocynaceae.
