Thorn forest, mostly cultivated, with brushy roadsides.

Description
Vine in shrubs; stems green, glaucous; all leaves seen were simple; fruit 1-4 per inflorescence, slightly pear-shaped, bright orange, the flesh orange, the pulp red; seeds white; some fruits rotting on the vine and becoming putrid. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
