vem. Name: Bastard Cedar? West Indian Elm.
A tree about 20 ft. high and trunk 16 inches in
diameter; flowers yellow; fruit globular. Lower
part of northern slope of Long Mountain. About
650 ft. alt. Leaves and young shoots used medi-
cinally.
