Boquerón, along Hwy. 301, 2.7 km. (by air) NNW of
lighthouse, 1 mile SW of Pole Ojea, edge of saline
lagoon and brushy pasture immediately behind.
17°58’N, 67° 12’W. alt. 0-1 m.

Shrublets forming masses on bare sand at edge of
beach, the branches arching, with upright
branches, or on young plants sometimes all
branches prostrate; sometimes rooting where fallen
to ground; leaves and stems fleshy. No fertile
material seen. Voucher for medicinal screening by
Pfizer Inc.: 44111a PL (Nee-995).
