  • Habitat

    Gently east-sloping outwash alluvium of dry canyon. Soil mixed decomposed granite and pumice gravel. Area is evidently grazed. With Purshia tridentata, Artemisia tridentata, Ephedra viridis, occasional Pinus monophylla. Common and widely scattered.
