Primary lowland wet forest. Tree, 20 m tall; flowers ca. 2.5 cm in diameter across petals, calyx and corolla white; staminal hood white basally, fading to yellow tubercles apically, folded over, but held above (i.e., not directly in contact with) androeci. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
