In crack in boulder along shore of lake.

Description
Herb, 25 cm tall. Calyx green; petals yellow with two red spots at their bases; stamens fused into rim at their bases, the rim and the filaments yellow, the anthers red for lower 1/2 and brown for upper 1/2; rim of androecium, filaments, and base of petals with glandular trichomes. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
