  • Description

    Pileus 4-7 cm broad, obtusely convex to plane with a low umbo, dry, matted fibrillose, pale yellowish (4A5-4), but in one dark brown. Flesh white, unchanging, with mild odor and taste. Lamellae adnexed, close, pale lilac when young, becoming pale brown with age. Stipe 2-7 cm long, 10-15 mm broad, marginate bulbous to bulbous, pruinose to sliky shiny, pale lilac above bulb, whitish below, with interior pale lilac at first then white, unchanging, with cortina leaving a pale brownish yellow zone at blub margin.
