    Incroachment of goats or pigs from below, Polynesian rat, invasive planta taxa. Freyconetia inpavida-Hibiscus tiliaceus mixed wet shrub and fernland; Doodia marquesenesis, Nephrolepis biserriata, Cyclophyllum barbatum, Crossostylis biflora, Asplenium nidus, Doodia marquesensis, Cyathea affinis, Weinmannia marqesana, Ficus prolixa, Peperomia pallida, Adenostemma viscosum, and Macropipoer latifolium, Procris pedunculata, Leptochloa marquisensis. Rare in area.

Tree, 3 m. tall, main stem brown-red, young stems brown or yellow-green tinge, leave sglossy medium green above with white-green costa, paler below, corolla pure white, stigma yellow, inner anthers gray-yellow, outer stamens whitish, fruit glossy purple-red. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
