    In annotation attached to mounting sheet for this packet, Burdsall writes: "The type specimen is in herb. (K) These and the other portions of the Ravenel exsiccati #226 should be considered isotypes since the type is from Myria cerifera and was published in 1879. Ellis's 1209 collected on Juniperus virginiana in 1881 cannot be considered as type. According to the original packet at (K) the type was distributed as Ravenel #226 [Corticium flavidoalbum Cke.]."
