Associated with Artemisia tridentata wyomingensis, Opuntia polyacantha, Chrysothamnus viscidiflorus, Chaenactis douglasii, Phacelia glandulifera, Bromus tectorum, Sitanion hystrix, Poa nevadensis. Common.
