    Three plants, much branched from base, 1 m high; leaves wavy; bracts spreading-recurved, partly perisitent; hypanthium and calyx with some red, sepal-tips scarcely spreading; petals orange in age, 1 cm long; stigma-lobes greenish, spreading. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Flower, Fruit.
