    China. Yunnan. Xishuangbanna (Prefecture). In cultivation at Ohio State University Plant Biology Greenhouses, from cutting sof original material [obtained 3 March 2003]: Meng La [Jing Hong] County: On Highway 213, on the north side of Da Du Gang Town, near 2765 mile post. On a new highway to be built in 2004. On a side road off of the highway curving south approximately 1.5 km. from Highway 213.

  • Habitat

    On side of dirt road, growing in shade on sandstone dirt wall near ravine and stream.

  • Description

    liana. Leaves strongly variegated, deep green with white veins. One plant observed, not in flower at the time. Flowering specimens were made from cuttings of original material in cultivation at Ohio State University Plant Biology Greenhouses. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
