Description
Unbranched treelet 1.8 m tall. Leaf blades lobed, to 50 cm; terminal leaves with petioles 1.5 cm, the lower with petioles to 6 cm. Stipules light green. Floral bracts absent. Fruits green and ovoid when immature, at maturity turning to orange-brown, obovoid and softer, the mesocarp yellow, the pulp white, with a flavor somewhat sweet-coconut; seeds irregular, dark-brown. Calyx green, tinged reddish at the apex. Phenology of specimen: Flower, Fruit.
