KANE COUNTY, UTAH: on the Cockscomb, a ridge
formed by a fault escarpment running north-south
at the confluence of the Paria River and Cotton-
wood Creek. On the ridge south of the river in
sandy soil with much unsorted material. Psoralea
juncea is a dominant member of the community.
