    Biennials or short-lived perennials; caylx united 2/3 of its lenght; corolla scarlet, the tube/throat to 15 mm long and the lobes to 7 mm long; stamens 5, inserted deep within corolla tube on very short filaments. Phenology of specimen: Flower.
