Description
Bushy, erect, 1 m. and more tall; stems with some red, strigose, not muricate; leaves grayish, lanceolate, somewhat crinkled; bracts recurved-spreading; sepals red, with connivent tips; hypanthium less red; petals pale yellow, quite red in age, 4 cm. long; stigma-lobes yellow, spreading. Phenology of specimen: Fertile, Fruit.
