Habitat
Montane evergreen forest, canopy 30-40 m. Soils sandstone and laterite derived. Large trees including Lecythidaceae, Fabaceae - rich in epiphytes, lianas, fungi. Creek with sandstone talus, rich in herbs.

Description
Tree. Tree, 15 m x 20 cm; petioles, inflor. rachis, abaxial leaf surfaces dull orange farinose; calyx tan; corolla white. Fruit green, dull orange farinose. Phenology of specimen: Fruit, Flower.
