River, east of shrine of Shio Mqhvimeli, ca 6 km (by air) west of
junction of Aragvi and Mtkvari (Kura) Rivers, 41°51.004' N,
44°39.373' E, ca. 630 m. (coordinates and elevation from hand-
held GPS, accurate to within a radius of about 25 m). Growing
with Celtis, Carpinus, Lonicera, Cotinus, Rhus, Comus, Cerasus
and Ephedra in vegetation known as "shibelak".
Flowers white.
