In damp salt and clay soils. Gamanthus pillosus, Sideritis montana, Alopecurus myosuroides, Asphodeline dendroides, Agropyron cristatum, Lolium rigidum, Camelina pilosa, Euphorbia chamaesyce.

Description
Annual, up to 20-80 cm, branched from near base; stem and branches straw-coloured, glabrescent; leaves pubescent; appendages yellowish, narrowly triangular, with 4-7 pairs of cilia; flowers yellow; achenes 3-4 cm, central achenes with a pappus barbellate.
