In damp salt and clay soils. Suaeda dendroides, Salsola tragus, Brachiaria erucifomis, Stizolophus coronopifolius, Camelina pilosa, Euphorbia chamaesyce, Kochia prostrata.

Description
Annual; stems 2-70 cm, procumbent or ascending from and branched at base, glabrous; uppermost leaf sheaths usually shorter than blades; inflorescence oblong, ovoid-elliptic to ovoid-cylindrical; caryopsis oblong-ellipsoid.
