Georgia. Kazbegi region (The Central Caucasus), Juta Gorge, south - eastern of riv. Juta (ca. 1,5 km), about 20 m of right riv. Jutis - Tskali, along the stream.

Habitat
Screes, slope exposition south - western; alluvial soil, inclination 20 -25 dg., plant cover 20%. Rumes scutatus, Alchemilla sericata, Betonica macrantha, Polygonum carneum, Cyrsium obvalatum.

Description
Perennial; herb with short rootstocks; glabrous; stems up to 20 cm; leaves almost all basal, long-petiolate, reniform to triangular-cordate, somewhat fleshy; fruit reddish.
