Mountain slope, north - western exposition; alluvial soil, inclination 45 dg., plant cover 85%, Festucetum varie. Festuca varia, Carex meinshauseniana, Helictotrichon asiaticum, Betonica macrantha, Polygonum carneum, Centaurea cheirantifolia.

Description
Perennial; laxly caespitose; fibrous to shortly stoloniferous; stems 30-110 cm, erect, slightly decumbent at base, smooth; leaf sheaths shortly hairy; panicle rather open, light brown.
