Edge of birch forest; slope south - western exposition, inclination 43 - 45 dg., alluvial soil, plant cover 75%, Festuceto - Rhododendreto - Salicetum. Salix kasbekensis, Betula litwinowii, Rhododendron caucasicum, Festuca varia, Daphne glomerata, Dryas caucasica, Carex meinshauseniana, Anemone fasciculata.

Perennial; stems simple or branched, pilose, 15-45 cm tall; corolla yellow, hypocrateriform to infundibular; flowers heterostylous.
