Habitat
In damp salt and clay soils. Salsola tragus, Sueda dendroides, Crypsis schoenoides, Brachiaria eruciformis, Alopecurus myosuroides, Gamanthus pillosus, Euphorbia chamaesyce.

Description
Annual, 30-50 cm, with simple long white hairs and shorter forked or stellate hairs, basal leaves scarcely rosette-forming, oblong lanceolate, toothed; cauline leaves amplexicaul; fruiting pedicels, fruit obovate; seeds very mucilaginous.
