Description
Annual or biennial herb, stems 30 to 90 cm tall, with rigid, tubercle based hairs and some slender spines; basal leaves elliptical to oblanceolate or obtuse, sinuate to dentate, with winged petiole; the upper leaves lanceolate to ovate, amplexicaul, cover.
