Georgia. Lagodekhi Nature Reserve. On a south then east-facing slope of a ridge system ("Demidow's Screes") about 2 air miles southeast of the meteorological station ("Meteo Sta.") and field cabin from a minor pass on the trail from Meteo Station to Lekisaplavi at about 41º52'21"N, 46º22'51"E to on the east-facing slope at about 41º52'06"N, 46º23'01"E.

Associated with scattered ferns and grass, Carex, Hieracleum, Inula, Ligusticum, Rhododendron, Sedum, and Vaccinium.
