Tree; 30ft tall; dbh 40cm. Flowers white; fruits purple when ripe. Characteristic hollowness to the center of the trunk. Use: Construction: Good for construction, as flooring, posts and pillars. Termites eat only around the edges, and cannot get into the center, of the piece used for construction. (DN) Comments: The fruits are bird food.
