2-4 km S of Marudi Mt. 02°13'N, 59°10'W. Elev. 250 to
350 m. Mixed hardwood forest on grey clays, occasional
rocky uplands. Tree 25 m; leaves with fine brown
matting below; calyx brown; corolla green; style
green.
