Tree to 10 m, overhanging river. Small
branches with reddish sap. Petioles and
rachis of inflorescence green with tawny
brown indument. Corolla yellow. Stamens
dimorphic, eight large with yellow filaments,
numerous small with white filaments, all with
yellow anthers. Carpels pale green.
