disturbed restinga.

Scrambling shrub to 2.5m. with spreading
green stems. Spines yellow green. Leaves
with very bright green leaflets, paler
beneath, slightly leathery. Calyx tawny-
yellow, with bracts the same colour. Petals
widely spreading, butter-yellow, fragrant.
Pods, old, prickly with blue-grey seeds.
