Thallus corticolous, crustose, esorediate, gray; apothecia circular to poorly
elongate fusiform, disc black, with a pseudothalline brown margin; epihymenium
brown; hymenium colorless; hypothecium brown to hyaline; exciple brown;
ascospores colorless, ca. 8-per ascus, twisted, multi-septate (>4 celled), ca. 34-38(a.m x
4(im, lacking a gelatinous sheath.
