Description
cycad. Stems from 5-15 cm. in diam.; leaves from 0.5-2.5 m. long; petioles of youn g plants very spiny even on lower rachis of large leaves, or sometimes spiny moslty on lower half of petioles only; ovulate stroboli 12 cm. long (sporophyll part 6 cm., peduncle 6 cm.) x 4 cm. in diam., dark reddish brown, pubescent. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
