Habitat
At base of Laetia procera (collection E1072) two-thirds of way up the slope. Tall, wet terra firme forest on S facing slope above camp, drier upslope; sandy soil.

Description
Tree 3m. tall, 45cm. circum.; petals with a red base, yellow tip; sepals red. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
