Former tropical lowland evergreen forest, now mostly cleared for pastures and with Attalea phalerata, and a new plantation of Tectona grandis.

Shrubs 1.5 m. tall. Corolla white; anthers yellow. Phenology of specimen: Flower , Fertile.
