Food - Seedlings are consumed like a starch
and eaten with fish, like the way taro
(Colocasia esculenta (L.) Schott) is eaten
(RS). Good for roasting. (DO)
Construction - Trunk is good for making
canoes. (DO)
Comments: On trail to lighthouse 20 - 200 m
elevation. Wild breadfruit. Fruit bats love it.
