Low open grassy cerrado.

Description
Small tree c. 3 m high, 8.5 cm diam. Bark thick, longitudinally fissured and deeply charred. Slash: bark straw coloured. Wood pale pink. Flowers white with heavy smell much visited by ants. Copium white latex flowing from cuts on leaves and smaller branches. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
