ON a steep W-facing slope. With Achillea millefolium, Alnus sp., Baccharis piliularis, Epilobium angustifolium, Equisteum arvense, Plantago lanceolata, Polystichum munitum, Pteridium aquilinum, Rhamnus purshiana and Rubus discolor. Common. On loamy soil.

Tree, 70 ft. x 3 ft. Tree, 70 ft. tall, trunk diameter 3 ft., with a braodly conical crown. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
