In canyon along trail, in open. With grasses, Rhus trilobata simplicifolia, Bouteloua, Atriplex canescens, Pinus edulis, Opuntia cf. engelmannii, O. polyacantha, Frasera, Abronia fragrans, Oenothera albicaulis, Cordylanthus, Cryptantha flava. Local. in sandy cryptomgamic soil.

Low herbaceous perennial, flowers white, stigma lobes linear. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
