Soil rocky sand, arid. Exposure sun. Along side road cut in ditch.

Description
Herb 14 - 20" tall. Roots ½" long. Multibranching stems. Leaves ½ - ¾" long, fragrant. Flower violet/white elongated cluster, shape bilaterally symmetrical, 5 petals-2 on each side violet to white, bottom petal wider, darker violet with white stripe, many stamens that curve over the top. Flower 3/8 - ½" wide, ½" tall. Measurements from fresh plant.
