Mexico. Chihuahua Estado, Municipio Bocoyna. Right hand turn into San Ignacio valle 4km from Creel.

Soil loam and volcanic rock, dry. Exposure sun. Edge of valley, broken up volcanic rock on hillside.

Description
Herb 24" tall. Roots 3" long. Stems erect. Leaves 2 1/2 - 3" long. Flower yellow daisy-like, 9 drooping ray flowers with 1" high flower head with yellow green disk flowers. Each ray ¾" long, divided into 3 points at end. Whole flower 2 ½" wide. Measurements from fresh plant.
