    Erect shrub to c. 3 m. with blackish green stems. Leaves mid green coriaceous, slightly downwards directed. Inflorescence axis white. Calyx and ovary reddish purple. Corolla bright blue, stamens pale blue. Phenology of specimen: Fertile.
