Virgin wet forest on slopes.

Description
Tree 3 m.; leaves membranous, rich green above, paler green below with raised yellow nerves; petioles and young stem maroon-ferruginous; fruit turning blue-black; rachis of infructescence dull maroon. Phenology of specimen: Sterile.
