    Tree 20 m. tall; leaves coriaceous, dark green above, buff green below with ferruginous raised nerves; calyx pale gray green; petals white with sore filaments; anthers and connective yellow; style horizontal, pale green; rachis dull wine-purple; young fruit blue-purple with deep red calyx rim. Phenology of specimen: Fruit.
